Matt Kerwick
About Me
Over 25 years as a College Lacrosse Coach Matt accumulated 140 head coaching victories while leading Cornell University, Hobart College and building the first program at Jacksonville University. During this 25-year run he also served as assistant coach at Georgetown University and The University of Pennsylvania. Matt mentored numerous All Americans, led 2 programs to the NCAA Final Four appearances, won numerous league titles, and coach of the year honors. From 2005-2010 he served as an assistant coach for the USA National Teams. Currently Matt holds the offensive coordinator position for the Chrome Lacrosse Club in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL).
Over the past 3 years Matt spearheaded the coaching initiative at a rapidly growing tech start up. He led the sales team while mentoring individuals and teams throughout the organization, establishing numerous initiatives and standing programs.
These initiatives focused on sales, business development, customer success, product development, and leadership development. In this role Matt developed each individual and team to embrace their individual roles and reach their potential while working towards a shared outcome.
Culture drives success and Matt assisted an organization growing from 60 initial employees to over 400 in two years. While most organizations would struggle with this rapid growth under “Coach K” leadership they were able to manage and thrive through this evolution.
